Your membership questions answered

How much does membership cost?

Annual membership is £120 for consultants and £60 for GPs, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and other clinicians. Medical students can join for just £1 per year. Your membership gives you access to prescribing guidance, peer support, CPD-accredited training, and a library of practical tools designed for busy clinicians working with medical cannabis.

Is the Society just for prescribers?

Not at all. While many members are prescribing clinicians, we also welcome nurses, pharmacists, AHPs, medical students, and others with a professional interest in medical cannabis. Whether you’re prescribing now, planning to start, or supporting patients in other roles, you’ll find valuable guidance, education, and a network of peers.

What support will I get as a new member?

From day one, you’ll be invited to our monthly Member Meet-Ups and added to our private online hub for 24/7 peer support. You’ll get instant access to our evidence database, prescribing templates, and CPD-accredited recorded training. You can also sign up for our live training course with Prof Mike Barnes, and explore our step-by-step guides on how to start prescribing.

Is membership available to overseas clinicians?

Yes. We welcome international members and have a number of expert overseas ambassadors. We value global perspectives and the exchange of best practice.
