Participating Clinics

Clinics participating in this scheme confirm annually that they support key principles of good CBMP prescribing, including:

  • specialist-led prescribing
  • appropriate peer review or MDT oversight
  • structured patient assessment and monitoring
  • clear documentation of prescribing decisions
  • transparency around prescribing, product selection and costs
  • respect for patient choice, including pharmacy choice
  • ongoing training, CPD and professional development

Participating Clinics have completed the MCCS annual declaration and confirmed their support for the Good Practice Guide.

MCCS is not a regulator and does not inspect, audit, accredit or certify clinics. The scheme is based on voluntary self-declaration and annual renewal.

MCCS reserves the right to refuse, suspend or remove a listing where concerns arise, where a clinic does not complete its annual declaration, or where continued listing may be inconsistent with the aims and reputation of the Society.

Sign up to the Principles of Good Practice

By signing up, clinics show regulators, patients and clinicians that they meet the accepted standard in the UK.

Clinics wishing to be listed should complete the MCCS Clinic Commitment to Good Practice Declaration.

Participation is renewed annually to reflect updates to the Good Practice Guide and changes in clinical practice, governance and regulation.
